The downward journey from Hailokou Glacier is entirely a different story. The sun is hidden behind the clouds and everything looks grayish. Only when we got down to lower ground, we saw the sun a bit. Therefore, whenever we want to go up the mountain in winter, do it as early as possible. This was the same with Emei Shan, it's very foggy and gray in the afternoon. But I have to record the scenes that I have missed uphill here. Please bear with me the not too sharp photos as I have to shoot either through the windscreen or through the side window which were full of dirt and a streak of blue lining on the upper part of the windscreen as well. The scenes are very attractive and at times looks poetic even under such adverse conditions. Cheers
