The mantis has very good eyes. This insect don't like a close up photo and tries to hide. This one was a very tiny one, only a few cm long (Praying mantises are about 2/5-12 inches (1 - 32 cm) according to species). They are very difficult to find because they look like a part of the plant. The photos where taken at twilight and the mosquitos became too active and maked it difficult to concentrate. I hope I can find another Mantis and make some better photos.
