The year of the Dog began with a big performance in front of the Temple in Sai Kung. Dragons and Lions in a big show performed by people from the local society. You can view photos from the 2 hours performance here.

Today I went with my wife to HK-island. I wanted to shoot some photos of the old Canopy trees on Hollywood Rd while they are there. After we went to the old street market and the Botanic Garden. A brave member of The Legco in Hong Kong. As his T-shirts shows - his the the voice of the people. Sometimes his speech in the Parliament is not well received and the chairwoman has untill now told him to leave the chamber 3 times. Is it right to so to an elected member? Of course it's not right to kick out an elected member. All members has the right to speak - thats why they are elected. The behavior of the chairwoman is wrong and she has to learn to listen to all voices in the Legco. In Denmark all members of the parliament can speak free as long as they do not insult other members. On the way back home I meet the Legco member Long Hair on the Statue Square and got a little chat with him. Few days ago he was told to leave the Parliament by the chairwoman, but today he left for buying a packet of cigarettes.
