Genovesa is an outpost for many sea birds. There is limited flora and fauna on the island because it is the most isolated of the main islands.
船在晚上航駛, 清晨到達 Galapagos 北面的 Genovesa, 這個偏遠呈馬蹄形的小島, 是 Galapagos 眾多小島中最年輕的, 形成不到一百萬年, 島上一片荒涼, 只有少量動植物生長, 卻有許多海鳥棲息. 優雅機靈的 tropicbird 令我着迷.
