After two weeks of wonderful holiday in Australia, I am now back living my life in the most crowded city in the world.
But the deep blue ocean, huge open spaces, fresh air, passionfruit and the friendly people of Australia live on in my mind - always.
I have been taking photographs for many years and have always regarded myself as a serious photographer. On trips to other countries before this one to Australia, I used to spend a lot of time taking photographs, but this journey was definitely different. I completely changed my habits. I allowed myself to sit back and feel with passion the majesty of the scenery of Australia instead of concentrating on capturing it on film. I sat down for a while at every place I traveled. I relaxed, took in the views and used my nose to smell the fresh air and freedom of Australia (I think my nose had been malfunctioning for many years). The spectacular seashore, the deep blue ocean, the endless land, the clean, fresh air, the taste of passionfruit and the hospitality and friendliness of Aussies gave me unforgettable memories. This trip to Australia is an experience I will treasure all my life.
Well, Mates, as in the words of the song ¡§ I still call Australia home¡¨, some day we will all be together once more, when all of the ships come back to the shore. Now I make my promise that when we are together once more, I will make some delicious Chinese food for you. Meanwhile, I am truly grateful to all my Mates for the warm hospitality you extended to me while I was in Australia and also to my best foreigner friend, Jim. I am at a complete loss for words to express to you my deep appreciation for your generosity. So, Mates, see you down the track.
