It's hard to explain but old memories kept flooding back......what can I say?

The only reason, maybe, is to meet some old friends.....

 

Check Point 1: Singapore

If SH was there, Cherry should have a longer stay here.  Haven't come back for 4 years and there's quite a lot of changes!  Upon arrival Cherry found her old EZ link card was no more in use but gotta refund and buy a new one.  Then going to the same merlion as usual, the Sands hotel seems to be the new landmark!!!  And finally a bit disappointed with that Cherry can't get her $30 online purchased bus ticket and gotta buy a new cheaper SG$25 one!!!

Anyway Cherry still loves this country, espeically knowing that its living standard is a bit lower than Aus....

Transport: Jetstar oneway ticket from Sydney to Singapore, AU$270.  Travel within Singapore with MRT, not to expensive anyway

 

Check Point 2: KL

In contrast, tourist spot is nothing for Cherry here but people + food were Cherry's greatest attraction!  (Even have no chance to meet Mr K & Mr N)  So nice to stay with ex-colleague and meet her friend and know more about their life as a housewife when they move to KL.......Wish u all happy always!  Also, so lucky to withness how a pregnant cat give birth to 4 kittens!!!!

Transport:  Frequent bus from Singapore to KL, Cherry spent SG$25 for the 11:59pm bus and arrived KL at 4:15am!!!  NEVER buy bus ticket ONLINE coz it maybe fraud & a bit expensive!

 

Check Point 3: Hat Yai

It's just a transit point at Thailand and Cherry stayed here for about 30 mins only.  Do wish to stay here overnight before coz it's a big choice for short vocation in Malaysia.  There's a daily direct bus from Singapore to Hat Yai as well!  It's SG$40 and ticket can be bought from any travel agency outside Golden Mile Complex/ bus terminal.  Anyway Cherry start her trip from KL and the 10-hour trip took me MYR55.

Transport:  Frequent bus from Hat Yai to Phuket or surrounding islands/ suburbs.  The 7 hour trip cost 400THB.

 

Check Point 4: Phuket

Sunshine + beach with lovely classmates.  This reunion trip was Cherry's main reason to leave Sydney - a midpoint between Australia & HK.......Donno when we can have the same CKMB combination again?

Transport:   Phuket town to Padong beach by motorcycle cost 250THB after 8pm......

 

Check Point 5: Gold coast/ Brisbane

Back to OZ and first time visiting BNE, this is the place where my bro staying now......Try to learn the difference between Syd & BNE....and wondering where's the attraction point other than beach???  For this part please go to Cherry's working holiday page.....
