By order of Yue Opera Institute, the colonial-heritage style building has been built on the yards of the former residence of Mr. Bai Chong Xi – a renowned General of the KMT, in 1965.  這幢建築座落于徐匯區鬧中取靜的巷道內，餐廳建築原為1965年越劇院舊址，旁邊是具有百年歷史國民黨白崇禧將軍的故居。
