Chiloe churches (World Heritage)
I do not have any interest of the churches in South America because most of them are colonial churches which are the symbol of "Conquer and War". But the churches in Chiloe is an exception. They represent the fusion of European culture and local native peoples' skill and traditions, the structure of the churches are unique in the world because all are made of the wood. And they represent the harmony between European and local natives.
How to get there: Taking ferry from Puerto Montt to the island of Chiloe (Castro). However, the churches are distributed evenly in the island and it is difficult to visit all of them. Therefore, I would like to recommend visiting the most representative one in Castro.
How it costs: All churches in Chiloe are free
