Cape Kidnapper
Cape Kidnappers is famous in its geology and it has a world-famous Australian-gannet colony. I joined 4-hour tour including experienced eco-tour guide who explained details in the formation of sedimentary landscape and excited transport - tractor & trailor. The tour just cost NZ$38 per adult.
But if you have get plenty of time, try to access there on foot, but the route is only accessible in low tides.
