Virgen del Carmen in Pisac
Date visited: 15-18 July 2014
Every year in July, the town of Pisac in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru, comes alive and has a four-day fiesta to celebrate the Virgen del Carmen. During the fiesta (festival), parades, shows, dancing, music, beer and food are appeared in every corner in Pisac. There are 12 dancing teams with customed dressing and danced with funny masks and every dancing teams has its stories to tell. I like this festival a lot because it has very strong Andean culture.
How it cost: All parades and shows are free of charge Ship Inca culture and festival |
