自號「九龍皇帝」的曾灶財(1921-2007)聲稱根據其族譜，皇帝曾御賜九龍給他的先祖作為食邑，故50多年來經常在街上四處塗鴉指英國非法佔領他的土地以宣示其主權。於90年代後期，有香港設計師用他的塗鴉作為時裝設計靈感；於2004年，更有拍賣行以HKD$55,000成功拍賣他的塗鴉作品。
