Annie Lau Moscow Metro Stations - 2011-04-28 14-54-09 ~ Mayakovskaya Metro Station. It is one of the early constructionist stations (1938), its columns are decorated by a very untraditional material - rolled steel. It is also a deep station, that is why in 1941 it hosted headquarters of anti-aircraft defense & even a Supreme Soviet session |
