Trip to Canberra
We spent 4 hours driving from Sydney to Canberra, and stopping at a few resting areas in between. On the first day, we went to the Floriade. It is the flower festival held every year at spring time in Canberra for about one month. Many tourists flock into Canberra just to see this show. There are soooo many tulips which i love so much. They are so beautiful! It just felt like I was in Holland already! Hei hei's highlight of the day, apart from taking photos with flowers, is chasing birds. There were several species of water birds which i haven't seen or heard of. They look so weird! I particularly like the black swans family with their chokes..... We all spent some happy times there.
On the second day, we visited the Parliament house, lots of embassies from different countries, the War Memorial, and Australian Mint. Hei hei was so tired by the end of the day, and slept on the way back to Sydney.
