I actually put off looking for my bridal gown until I really had to. I was worried I wouldn’t find anything I ‘loved’, or get confused by looking at too many dresses. After researching a few brands I narrowed down my choices and realised I really liked Spanish designer Pronovias. Ah, yes. I was in a Pronovias gown also when we had the pre-wedding photos taken in Taiwan.
My experience with Pronovias at the shop was outstanding – the shop is beautiful to look at and be in. You’re made to feel like you’re the only bride in the world. I would 100% recommend Pronovias to other brides, I have done and will continue to do so.
Kiu wore a tailored suit in beige color. He completed his look with a succulent boutonniere - more about that later!
I'm only 5'2 and Kiu is 6'2. Being genetically short I wore some big 4-ish inch heels for MOST of the day. They are handmade shoes crafted immaculately from high quality. His shoes were $2XX in the Stage of Playlord sale. He is a shoe ruiner so they just needed to be comfy and cheap LOL
The bridesmaids! We need to talk about this glamorous crew. I didn't want anything too "bridesmaidy" and wanted something that would fit some potentially very different bodies from when they were tried on.
In March, I made gift boxes for the bridesmaids that included the mint-colored dress I ordered on internet, an Anna Sui lip gloss, an English tea selection, a mint-colored bow-tie for their husbands, and a personalised hand-written message. On the morning of the wedding, I gave each of the girls a flower crown from Forever 21, as they are the universe to me.
The groomsmen each wore a mint-toned bow-tie. I do ADORE a bow-tie wedding. The bow-ties also matched the lace dresses of my bridemaids perfectly!
