Haplopelma lividum (Cobalt blue tarantula)
Photographing this individual was frustrating. It absolutely wouldn't stay still, moved off just as I readied the camera and refused to stay still on the background wood. I was almost bitten too. Finally, I used flash, even though this is not advised for tarantula photography.
