Documentary photography usually refers to a type of professional photojournalism, but it
may also be an amateur or student pursuit. The
photographer attempts to produce truthful, objective, and usually candid photography of
a particular subject, most often pictures of people. The pictures usually depict
a certain perspective of the
photographer. 紀實攝影是凸顯紀實性、真實性、強調客觀反映的攝影形式。新聞報道攝影、文獻攝影等多數都可以被理解為紀實攝影。紀實攝影目前是中國特有的詞彙，西方尚沒有對應的詞彙。在定義上，紀實攝影與西方的文獻攝影最為接近，其目的在於紀錄社會現實，特別是即將消失的社會現實、人類生存狀況，強調其社會學的文獻價值，拍攝上主要強調真實與消除偏見的紀錄現實事物。 |
