Why do we need to go Taiwan for practice? (Arouse me by ah HA) It is totally right that a perfect oversea practice for Hong Kong people should include friendly matches, intense practices (just compare to HK’s), exchange with opponents, non-stop sightseeing (must), fun time with (crazy) teammates and local people, and fine food (especially the local snacks) and etc.

I was little bit jealous of you all u could organize a football trip overseas. And I thank you all for letting me play, and bringing me back to the past in which I was a year-3-happy student (five-year-before).

After the trip, all of you should remember: there is a wonderful dream waiting for you to flight and run altogether.

When the whole team members were leaving us (the four smart sisters) from Taipei, our excited journey went on still. One of the notable Chinese sentences says that “The rich go out always in bad weather”. In other words, the poor, like us, had no big deal in our nice trip.

In the 10-day Taiwan trip, there are one, another one and an-another one typhoon visited. Nevertheless, it is surprising that we are OK when trapping in Taipei. The unlucky spot was the hitting point, Tainam. There were continuous dangerous-bridge signals and flooding signals. The powerful typhoon eyes visited Tainam and passed Taichung. My dear “group-leaving” colleagues forced to stay in the gloomy Tainam. I apologized that I could not go down to chase the typhoon together. (later I know that your bad visit were full of sad, depression, bleak and ruins, but I very appreciate you both can think it as many jokes.)

“Touch your heart” is an official tourist slogan in Taiwan. How extraordinary. It is unexpected that you can discover different lovely faces when you spend time here. Actually, Taiwan is not only a city; it is with a long, long history and soul we unrealized.

No wonder many big and small alleys are full of heritages from Chinese and Japan. And like other prosperity cities, lots of new, impressive and modern buildings are everywhere in down town. These traces all are revealed in: a no. of train ways, temples besides main streets, houses in countryside and cities, cafés, skycrafts, department stores, shopping malls and etc. But, in contrast to Hong Kong, Taiwan is really a city with a taste of Japan.

Touch my heart items:

l          Theme cafés – bad students class, the secrete garden of ah mo are so attracting.

l          The price, number and type of stock in Bookshop and CD shop in Taiwan are so amazing.

l          The entertainment programs – the challenge in physical performances, variety programs of Ng Chung Him are so humorous.

l          Taipei natural environment spots – North coastline, Danshui, Beitou, Taipei Zoo, night view at sky-train are so numerous.

l          Taiwan culture - Juming Museum, Red Playhouse, National Palace Museum, bookshop, café, tea shop are so fantastic.

10-day trip in Taiwan made me feel as a Taiwan-born. Although I disagree to Taiwan independence, Taiwan dependence in my life and soul, like listening favorite Taiwanese’ songs (from Sodagreen, Cheers Chan, Cheung yueng…), watching Taiwan film, reading Taiwan books, strolling in Taiwan museums, trying Taiwan snacks and pearl milk tea, is how touching and incredible.  

I must re-travel to Taiwan in future (at least 1 time, maybe 2 times for handball games in the coming year… ^、­^. Hehe!! ).   Next time, I must reside in the secret garden of ah Mo, travel down to Taichung and Tainam for amazing scenery, travel by the Taiwan old train, soak in hot water, try wakeboard… …

But I should go after I save lot of money. Ha-ha

Postscript:

Traveling with a Lam is a hell-on-diet travel; you can’t imagine that 2 ladies, jack-jack and I, lost 4-5 ponds in 5 days in such a snacks-heaven – Taiwan. What madness. In the trip, I always said that “dead-follow”.

Case studies

Five-year before, I lost a chance to admire the national treasure -

Jadeite Cabbage with Insects ( Jade-white meat) at National Palace Museum.

The size of the four-floor museum is so big that you can’t admire each collection in details in one day. To win a gaze at my dear baby Jade, which is at the highest of the building, I saved little time by surfing other collection a little quickly.

The moment I met the precious Jade, however, was with a hundred feeling. In front of her, I speak out a word “hungry”, even I really want to say “wonderful”, “crazy”, “unbelievable”, “incredible”, “delicate” and “precise”, but all of these were swollen involuntarily. How ironic. Or my misbehavior proofed that the art is just so vivid that my taste glands were stimulated. Or it was just my physiological response about the fact that I haven’t had my lunch even at 4 pm.

I reminded myself “forget it” and “keep going”. Just after 5-step walk, I found another fine craft – Tungpo meat (half-transparent-half-brown fat meat). Besides “excellent”, I just could say “unbearable hungry”. It made me want to leave there immediately.

At last I still think it is worth for the ill-treatment from ah Lam, if no you, I can’t experience a high concentrated visit. HAHA!!!
