Day 5 Bodo, then to Moskenes
So the night train passed the Artic Circle, and we arrived in Bodo. Bodo is of nothing special, just a stepping stone to Lofoten Island, our highlight of this tour. However, we are lucky enough to arrived in good time, and was blessed by the nature that we can go to the nearby Saltstraumen Maelstrom to watch the natural phenomenon which will show the best at the in or out tidal current. Then, in the late afternoon, we catched a ferry across the harbour to Moskenes in Lofoten Island, where our long awaited friends pick us up to the Fishing Village in A. Dr. SoNorway 挪威之旅

Bus stop in Bodo. We thought it is designed with a dog house in mind. The 2 guys at the back is watching how we take pictures of ourselves with no help and no tripod!!! No wonder the bus fare is so expensive. There is only 5 passengers in this journey. Saltstraummen IMG_5347 This is the natural phenomenon of strong tidal current made by a large quantity of salt water pushing its way through a much narrow strait. To me, the first impression is it is just like a big bubble bath! IMG_5334 This seagull seems to be enjoying the view as much as we do. This is the Saltstraumen Maeltrome. one of the world's strongets
