[Maryborough]
Being one of Queensland's oldest towns, Maryborough exceeded our prior expectations. The most memorable attraction has got to be Mary Poppin's statue, as Maryborough is the birthplace of the acclaimed book's author - P L Travers. This delightful place also offers interesting colonial architecture and details, resembling a mini, reality version of film settings in Hollywood(?).
