色彩斑斕的五彩灘是火山融岩，岩石有紅色、白色、黑色、橙色等，都是含有不同的礦物質，如鐵、銅。
不要看岩石表面斑剝，原來是很堅硬的，難怪沒有樹木生長，只有一些小小的如青苔的植物附生在縫隙之中。
