Annie's Comments Theme of Randomness When I started doing my chair, I didn't completely know how the chair would be made. Once I had the idea in my mind, I started to work with the idea; while I was actually taking a chance to make the idea success. People always think a chair supposed to be supportive. However, I would like to play with this fact. I wanted people to think my chair was fragile, while it could support weight. I was quite happy with the “wholes” idea, as audiences can see through from one side of the chair to the other side. It made the chair design become unique, and it also implied the theme of fragility.
