From: murphymyf (Jun 14, 2009 21:01 HKT) Second wine of Ch Lascombes Very attractive nose with blackberry. Sweet fruits and structured tannin on palate. A well-balanced wine with a long finish. Good quality cork, with just the bottom stained dark purple by the wine. Nice colour, Very clear and beginning to show some age along the rim. A bit "warm" and with the lightest touch of mint. Medium bodied, and very pronounced . Enjoy this wine with Spanish Ham is preference. |
