Day 1 - Coastal Walk Facing Tasman Sea from left and discovering a unique nikau palm forest (the most striking feature of the Heaphy Track) from right. Day 1 was a relaxing coastal walk but long hours walk (more than 8 hours). Ship Heaphy Track
