My most favourite place in NZ. Peaceful atmosphere, picturesque church, turquoise lakes, refreshing air, starry night, stunning view and friendly people are my impressions to Tekapo.
The Maori name of Tekapo (Teka = Sleeping Mat and Po = Night) means invite you to take a rest. My soul and spirit took a REAL rest during my two months staying here.
