Year 2001, a journey to the Holy Land with my Canon G1 digital camera. It was not until April 2005 that I selectively rescued some photos out of my dusty CD backup pile.  In between these years, some places in these photos had already gone through troubles of various kinds, mostly caused by imperfection of human beings -- may there be peace on this holy earth.
