Besides climbing the city walls and taking the cable car, the rest of our time was spent in the Old City exploring the museums and the churches, getting lost in the alleyways, checking out the Baroque and Gothic architecture, reading up the history and chilling out near the sea side. Although you could find many of these elements in many  other European cities, Dubrovnik in my opinion is still very unique and is definitely worth another visit

You must be blind if you don't see one of these GOT flyers during your time in Dubrovnik. As one of the main filming locations, there were tours everywhere that will take you to various shooting locations within Dubrovnik
and of course the souvenir shops as well...
This shop was definitely different...
It actually had the iron throne, unlike the movie, you don't need to kill to sit on it, just have to buy something from the shop

After climbing up the stairs you will leave the old city by the northern gate, Buža Gate. This is the land side city wall at the north of the city
We passed by a local fire station, seems the firemen had nothing better to do
After the cable car ride we went back to the old city and went into Sponza palace where it hosted the Memorial Room of Dubrovnik Defenders and also...
The Atrium of the Sponza palace is an art gallery always exhibiting some interesting works from Dubrovnik present or past.
