Vincent Poon :: Plitvice Lakes National Park

Perhaps one of the best known places in Croatia, Plitvice Lakes National Park is truly a must see. Consisting of 16 lakes, this UNESCO site has an abundance of forested hills, turqoise water and falls that will guarantee you a temporary escape from your urban jungle.

Would be nice to be able to swim here... Actually you could go to the Krka National Park to swim with the falls
This is the Milanovac fall, 10m high

Finally we arrived the picnic area near P3. There are restaurants (actually same food served) here that can keep you going (provided that you have enough money)
Taking the boat from P3 to P2, across Lake Kozjak, the largest of all the 16 lakes
Inside the boat. The boat has no aircon but luckily it wasn't hot on that day
View from the boat is spectular
