Our train which took us from ljubljana to Divaca

The train looked a bit dated.... who said Slovenia was the richest of all Balkan countries?

The interior of the compartment was also pretty dated

We passed by the Slovenia country side....

We finally arrived at the Divaca train station, it was the steam locomotive at the station that caught our eyes

After a short bus rider we arrived at the Skocjan Cave Park entrance

Things to do and see in Skocjan Cave Park

We had the option to do 1, 2 or 1+2. As we didn't have time, we did 1 which was the most popular

The red line was tour no. 1

It was a guided tour but it seems we had a fair bit to walk before we got to the cave entrance

On the way we saw doneys and sheep of Slovenia

Finally we arrived at what looked like a bomb shelter. This is the entrance to the cave
