Entrance of the mosque of Al-Azhar and the 18th century double-arched Gate of the Barbers.
| Through the Gate of the Barbers, there are two buildings. On the right is the library, and on the left is the mihrab.
| The Qaitbay Entrance was built in 1469 and has a minaret built atop. This door leads to the inner courtyard of the mosque

| The mosque had 6 minarets, only 3 remains now

| The nice marble(?) floor is polished clean and shiny by the orange janitor every morning. (If only he and his vacuum can just disappear for a second.. it would be much appreciated!)
