For those ppl who are going to bring instant noodles to Egypt really have to think twice! 
Egyptian Food has got more varieties than you think. (No, it does not include curry.. sorry, this is not India) The price is cheap and the taste is exotic... sometimes the Egyptian Gourment will even give you some surprises. Just remember to bring the Imodium(R) along.

Dinner@fast food store inside food court. 14th-Apr. Chicken Sandwich, chips, pepsi and dessert. LE16.75 Comment: Not a great way to be introduced to Egyptian Food. Overall tasted like Middle Eastern McDonald's... The dessert was too sweet to be true...I'm definitely not lov'ng it.
Breakfast@Vienna Pension, Cairo, 15th Apr. Bread, butter, fig jam, cheese and tea. Comment: The best part of this is the jam and the tea, and of course the "ROOM SERVICE" (Meal is included in the 20USD "hotel" rate)
Lunch@cafe in Citadel, Cairo. 15-Apr. Meat Kofta & chips. LE37 Comment: They really wanted to stuff me to death with all these bread! (which I didn't ask for)
Dinner@Felfela Takeaway, Cairo, 15-Apr. Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Aubergine. LE6.25 Comment: Despite some problems with the purchase. The food was surprisingly good (and greasy)... I will be back!

Dinner@White Desert Camping, 16-Apr. Rice + oil + potatoes/tomatoes. Comment: Again, looks can be deceiving... I actually enjoyed it. But then in the middle of the desert you don't get much choice. (Meal is included in the tour)
