Vincent Poon :: "The Best Food is that which fills the belly!"
For those ppl who are going to bring instant noodles to Egypt really have to think twice!
Egyptian Food has got more varieties than you think. (No, it does not include curry.. sorry, this is not India) The price is cheap and the taste is exotic... sometimes the Egyptian Gourment will even give you some surprises. Just remember to bring the Imodium(R) along.

Egyptian Pancake House, Khan El-Kalili.
Tea@El Fishawi's, Khan el-Kalili, Cairo. 29-Apr.
Mint Tea. LE4
Comment: The tea was good. All Egyptian mint tea was nice anyway. But this place would give you refuge after a long tiring mission of bargaining and haggling with the merchants.
El Fishawi's, situated right in the middle of the maze of Khan el-Kalili. Nicely decorated with large round mirrors. A nice place to sit back and relax and enjoy watching people passing by.
Lunch@Felfela Takeaway, Cairo. 29-Apr.
Koshari (a mix of pasta, rice, chicken peas, tomato source and a toppings of fried onions) LE1.75
Comment: Surprisingly good taste... the only time ever in Egypt I was thinking of encore, seriously!

Lastly, must pay tribute to this juice shop, which has been selling "freshly" squeezed juice for me for the past 3 days in cairo.
One glass of Mango Juice=LE 2.5, one glass of Orange=Juice LE2.
Tea@Ritazza Cafe, Cairo Airport. 29-Apr.
Fruit Cake+Espresso without milk. LE21.25
Comment: A quick way to spend all my remaining cash at the airport. The espresso did not come with milk :(
Should have deposited this amount to UNICEF instead...
