The Memphis musuem, possibly the only thing left that reminds us of its glorious past

| The main highlight of the musuem is the magnificent fallen colossal limestone statue of Ramses II

| The colossal statue is so huge that you have to climb up to the second floor to see its face properly

| I think he was holding a sceptre of some sort

Its lying position is still taller than me (also I would never trust anyone to take any photo for me any more)

| Besides THE statue, there are bits and pieces of artifacts around it, on display
