Vincent Poon :: West Bank: Valley of the Kings (22nd Apr 2007)
This certainly sounds so grand when I first heard of the name. They say (again!) it is one of the must see in Luxor. However, all I found was a network of empty tombs with all the treasures and the mummies all gone. So, does it worth it then?! With such an intensity of heat, even the most professional tomb raiders would leave them alone.

KV62: Tomb of Tutankhamun. What more do I need to say? If you don't know King Tut, go to goggle it! The most intact (it ACTUALLY came with treasures) tomb ever found in this valley.
The tomb raider and the tomb of King Tut
Never really know what the building on the left is except that it provides shade for people who are melting. Notice people are climbing the hill at the back.
These people are trying to hike from the Valley of the Kings to the temple of Hatsheput which is on the other side of the valley. With this heat this definitely looks like a suicide!
