The Red Sea Underwater Observatory, also known as Coral World Eilat, was opened to the public in 1975. It was the first Underwater Observatory Marine Park of its kind in the world at that time, with observatory 6 metres under water to allow the visitors to see in their own eyes the wonderful lifeforms and inhabitants beneath the Red Sea

Inside is an exact replica of a coral reef down to each detail as it is found beneath the Red Sea.
The reef is comprised of a vast and stunning coral colony with about 400 species of fish. Herbivores, predators, colorful reef fish, open sea fish, all swim and live side by side, as in nature.
