Again in Middle East the purpose of F & B was barely to fill-up the stomach and stopped me from dehydrating. It was getting really worse when I entered Jordan during Ramandan.. where everyone would not eat nor drink while the sun was out. Of course the visitors wouldn't need to follow the rituals but then finding people selling food during the day was the challenge!

10/9 lunch - restaurant inside Petra
10/9 lunch - buffet in this restaurant was expensive (JD 13 and not appealing), so had the coke instead (JD 1.5)
10/9 tea - Having defeated the Monastery and the High Place of Sacrifice, I decided to take a break  here and enjoyed watching other people hurried along to conquer those two places.
10/9 tea - Mint tea  (JD 1)

10/9 dinner - Sitting inside Red Cave Restaurant, right along the road eating dust as well as the food
10/9 dinner - Chicken Curry + Onion soup + water (JD 10) Didn't look very Traditional Bedouin Cusine to me.
7/9-??/9 - This packet of biscuits was bought in Eilat, Israel on 7/9, it served as many meals in Amman as Ramadan was strictly observed there and no food could be easily found during daylight. (NIS 8.5)

10/9 dinner - Sitting inside Red Cave Restaurant, right along the road eating dust as well as the food
10/9 dinner - Chicken Curry + Onion soup + water (JD 10) Didn't look very Traditional Bedouin Cusine to me.

11/9 late lunch at 5pm - Orange pudding bought in Jabri - Yuck~ Looks could be deceving. (JD 1.55)
11/9 dinner - Went back to Jabri again for dinner after it was opened after dark. Chicken ozi + coke. (JD 6) During Ramadan, you don't go by the menu, just choose from what they had cooked.
12/9 breakfast - Common Room at Palace Hotel, Amman
12/9 breakfast - After indulging breakfast down south, we were back to simple breakfast again~ (Inclusive of the room charge)
