Residence Maldives is situated on the Falhumaafushi island of Huvadhoo atoll which is well known for the beauty of its underwater world. The island itself is just right, large enough to feel not crowded yet small enough to have only one resort.

Sure maybe it doesn't have as many activities than Club Med or as luxurious as the other 6* hotels, but the atmosphere, the villas, the reefs and the staff service definitely made The Residence Maldives as one of my top recommendated hotels.

They used the coconut shells for decoration along the footpath

This is the eastern beach where you could enjoy all the water sports

The infinity pool for those that are not rich enough to have your own in your villa

Possibly one of the best places to spend your afternoon

Part of the sunset grill where you could have lunch or dinners

The water sports centre

see through canoe.. perfect to see what's underneath you

oars or paddles

The banana boat and the windsurfing boards

Main transport within the island - these bicycles are here if you are too lazy to walk or don't wait to wait for the buggies. Be warned though these only come in one size.
