Hassan Tower and Mausoleum as seen from the Kasbah (other side of Rabat)
| Imperial Guard at the entrance of the compound
| The tower was originally planned as a 60m minaret but was abandoned at 44m. It has the same design as the Giralda in Seville and Koutoubia in Marrakesh

Near the tower stands the marble Mausoleum, burial place for the king's father and grandfather

| At the entrance a girl grabbed my arm and said she would give me a "free" henna. When she finished, she asked me for money. Henna is modernized by using a pen that ejects a coloured creamy form of substance while she draws.
| She drew a 'rose' pattern on my arm within 20 seconds
| After it is dried, the coating dropped off and viola I got a henna ... but why is it so ugly?
