This is the beginning and the end. Civitavecchia is the Port of Call for Rome, many visitors just passed through this port and went straight to either the ships or to the train station to Rome. In fact there was not much to see here especially in the afternoon after all the crowds have disappeared, we felt like we were walking in a ghost town.

When we returned to Civitavecchia, there were already two other cruise ships - A Costa and a Princess
The Costa Serena has a water slide. Wished we had that in our ship too
