We walked all the way from the old City to the Mandraki Harbour was to visit the place where the Colossus of Rhodes was, which was definitely one of the most awesome Wonder of the Ancient World had it not been destroyed by the earthquake!

The ruined 15th-century fortress of Agios Nikolaos is now a lighthouse
Every ship entering Rhodes must passed under this gigantic statue of Helios the Sun God, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.
These are the two statues of the stag and the doe, that marks the place where the feet of the Colossus of Rhodes stood.
