Having been told that the infrequent train for El Jem would arrive at 8am, we arrived at the Sousse train station 10 minutes before
| Sousse, though a major city in the Sahel area of Tunisia, does not have a very large train station
| This train arrived. It looked fairly old, luckily it was not our train
| Another arrived that looked very modern, but sadly this was not for us neither

You could easily get on the track if you want. In fact, crossing from one platform to another you just walk on the track (no there was no underpass)
| Being bored and having nothing to do, I have decided to check out the Tunisian Malboro
| Trying to play with the kitty but Tunisian Kitty had pride.
| Finally our train arrived

Look at the locomotive engine! This is no worse than the one we saw in the beginning
| Anyway, since the first class ticket was relatively cheap HK$26 for 1 hr (compare to European standards) so we opted for 1st class and hoped that it would be better inside
| Inside the 1st class...don't let the picture fool you! The seats were dirty, there were no labels for the seats so even though we have reserved our seats people just sat randomly (and have taken all the good spots of course!)
| Finally arrived in El-Jem station, 'tiny' was the only word I can describe
