Vincent Poon :: Everything about flying...and waiting and eating and yes, more flying....

This album is all about our flying experiences to and from Tunisia as well as the domestic journeys between Tunis and Djerba.(Yep, ATR72!!!).As expected, the airports were no thrills and delays were expected. The last day was almost ruined by the public holiday with virtually no transportation to the airport, plus heavy rain that grounded all the flights. Luckily at the end we got back home in one piece!

These eggs looked really fresh!
Peach Yogurt ... it turned out that it was much better than the rest of the yogurt I had for the entire trip
Even though Dubai has a large terminal, it seems there are some planes we still need to catch with a bus

After our A380 from HK, this is the A340-300 to Tunis.
Our flight path from Dubai to Tunis. Luckily we were not flying over Libyan air space
The meal menu is very nicely designed
I quite like the Arabic inscriptions on the can...

We are not yet in North Africa and already we have the opportunity to taste the couscous
3 hrs later, we got the so-called 'second' meal with a cake bar only... though jaffa cake was my favourite!
This is the Tunis airport terminal. It is decorated with the North African style with a bullet elevator
This is the international departure area. Sadly the domestic departure counterpart was much worse
