Vincent Poon :: The Food

Although the food variteties were not as great as Seabel Alhambra's, they made it up with quality and more importantly, an abundance of shrimps and fishes.... and did I mention that they actually had a Japanese restaurant in the hotel? No French, no Italain, no German but just ONE Japanese restaurant? Was it good? I dunno as I was not that desperate enough to pay to try out the Tunisian-style Japanese!

Free welcome drink! Lemon grass... reminds me of the SE Asian hotels
By the time we got to the hotel we were quite late for lunch so we decided to eat inside this paid restaurant (Grill Le Pirate) which had a very nice pool and sea view!
Waiting for our food...
Pizza de la Mer, yummy! Shame that most of the fillings were squids

While we were having our paid lunch, we envy those who were in an all-inclusive package so they could grab their free crepes any time they want
Dinner was buffet style (we had half-board, so it was included), This was the bread station
Salads corner... they looked real
Seasoning corner... Most of these I have only heard their names before

Highlight of the night was stir-fried shrimps and skewers
Like in Port El-Kantaoui, they also have a giant wok every night. This was pasta with fishes...no, I didn't bother to try!
This master chef was frying the fishes... like the shrimps, it seems the seafood was cheap and plenty here...
Looks like Naan but the Indian version was better...
