This is the front of the Hotel Carton, where we stayed in Tunis for a few days. It was quite cheap and centrally located in the downtown area of the city.
| The corridors looked newly refurbished
| First room we were given... everything looked fine, except that the windows could not be locked...
| We changed to 314. The windows still couldn't be locked, but at least we were on the 3rd floor... we got a non-working fridge here as an added bonus

| | They even have their own logo on the toiletries
| This is the view from our room... you either get a room at the front and get the noisy traffic or at the back with this view

The restaurant on the 1st floor
| The design looked quite modern... those chairs looked so much like designer chairs!
| The breakfast was basically cold cut and salads
| plus fig and apricot jams and honey
