It was not usual to see ladies working publicly without covering her hair... if only the crepe tasted as good as her look...

First time we ate something since 0600 when we had breakfast... the crepe was literally soaked in syrup.. yuck!

Finally lunch at Metlaoui. The photo's timestamp reminded me it was 2:17pm. Btw, This looked like chicken and rice

After lunch, we arrived at Chebika, the 2nd sight on our itinerary

Chebika is believed to be the most beautiful of all Tunisian mountain oasis.

Water ducts were cleverly built around the palmeraie to draw water for irrigation

A mini waterfall! Hard to imagine to find this in the middle of the desert area

There is even a small pool for swimming... too bad we didn't have time to enjoy it given how hot it was then.

First time I saw someone swimming with a cigarette... Just look at how enjoyed he looked!

So instead of swimming we followed Pawel to climb the mountain of Atlas. (I prefer to swim personally)

Our last obstacle was this pass... could I (my tummy) make it? Well, turning back was not an option any more...
