Once passed the gap, you would be rewarded with the view of the old Chebika village ruins, as well as the palmeraie around it. There was such a high contrast of the greens (trees) and the yellows (barren land)
| The ruins of the Berber's village that was destroyed by heavy flooding in 1969
| No idea why there was a monument of goat in the mountain of Chebika
| After a hike at 40C, it would be nice to get something refreshing... freshly squeezed pomegranate juice!

Our next stop was Tamerza, with the famed waterfall!
| I really(!) had high expectation of this waterfall (based on the photos I saw, which people actually SWAM in it).. well, gone were these good old days
| Pretty good place to dry their clothes..
| All the kids came around trying to sell these kind of crystalline rocks to us. Pawel told us the amethyst colour was artificial.

With nothing much to do, we decided to study ecology... these frogs actually changed their camouflage as soon as they went ashore.
| Local kids playing around with the fall. With that amount of water, perhaps the adult could just get a decent shower?
| Not sure what they were looking for... I don't think a fish can survive in this amount of water...
| Next we went off-road and crossed the salt lake.. This was actually the route for the Dakar Rally... and initially we thought it was pretty cool (like being in part of a rally race too)!
