Vincent Poon :: Port El-Kantaoui

Many tourists who once stayed in Sousse now choose to stay in Port el-Kantaoui (PEK) which is only 10 minutes away. The beaches, as well as the hotels were much nicer around here. The only place of interest is the marina here if your hotel does not entertain you enough.

Album: The Marina

At the heart of PEK lies its colorful marina that was fringed by restaurants, cafes and shops, and of course not to mention the pirate boats that were unique to the ports in Tunisia. This place was especially busy at night since there was nothing much to do in PEK after dark.

Album: The Hotel, Seabel Alhambra beach golf & spa

As the name implies, the 27 acres hotel complex was built in a moorish style that resembles the Alhambra in Spain. There were lots of patios, gardens, plenty of orange and olive trees as well as a private beach. Definitely worth a visit (though remember to bring your umbrella along)

Album: The Food

We had an all-inclusive package there that means all the food and drinks (yes alcohol too but you'd rather not!) was included... yep! that means 2 full days of non-stop feasting and indulgence while we were there!
