Vincent Poon :: Ville Nouvelle

If Medina is the old city then this part is the new city of Tunis... here we (tried to) hunt for good restaurants as well as experienced first hand on what it was like to be waking up in a city where you met more cops than citizens during the festival of Eid al-Adha.

After a long tired walk in the Bardo Museum, we decided to settle our late lunch after seeing this sign. (Actually because this was the first restaurant we saw on our way out)
We were the only customers. Well, that was half-four then...
Chicken sandwich (3.5 TND)
Tuna sandwich (3.5 TND)

After our late lunch, we were back in Ave. Habib Bourguiba...We saw some police cars stationed here... little did we know what was coming on the next day...
This was cafe de Capitol... they were making crepes..this could be our potential dinner spot tonight! (if only we could understand the menu)
We were attracted by this fast food store inside a mall. International Cuisine... Just what we needed!
Interesting production line with absolutely transparency on the making of your food!
