2006 Feb 13:
Departed from Hong Kong, via Tokyo Narita 成田 airport arriving Chitose 千歳 airport and then to Sapporo 札幌.  Lodged at Keio Plaza Sapporo.

2006 Feb 14:
Strolled around in Sapporo 札幌 and then went to Otaru 小樽.  Visited the light festival there.  Got back to Sapporo 札幌 station to take the night train to Abashiri 網走.

2006 Feb 15:
Arrived Abashiri 網走 station at early 6am or so.  No restaurants were opened.  Took the Abashiri Ice Breaker.  Next station was Shiretoko-Shari 知床斜里 for a quick hotspring and our next stop was Kawayu Onsen 川湯温泉 station.  Lodged at Kusshuro Lake 屈斜路湖 Nibushi-no-sato 溫泉民宿 にぶしの里.

2006 Feb 16:
Woke up early in the morning to go to Kusshuro Lake to see "Omiwatari" 御神渡 (a natural scene of lake surface ice cracked and crushed).  Took an outdoor Hot Spring with the members of the trip.  Left Nibushi-no-sato around noon time and took the train to Kushiro 釧路 and took another express train back to Sapporo 札幌 and finished off the day with a great BBQ dinner.

2006 Feb 17:
Left the hotel and headed to Chitose 千歳 airport during lunch time.  Took the plane and arrived Tokyo Haneida 羽田 airport.  Took the express bus and arrived Shinjuku 新宿 and lodged in Shinjuku Vintage Hotel.
Walked around Shinjuku 新宿 area during the night.

2006 Feb 18 & 19:
Intensive shopping days of Shinjuku 新宿 (mainly films), Harajuku 原宿 (so many hours), Daikanyama 代官山 (so many clothes) and had dinner at Shibuya 涉谷 with our friends in Japan.  Thanks a lot Yuki-to and Masa san. 
Went to Harajuku 原宿 again and headed back to Shinjuku 新宿 for some more on the other day and finally "rushed" back to take the train to the Tokyo Narita 成田 airport. 
That sure was an unforgettable trip.
