Vincent Poon :: Three Caves, three beaches 1 day Tour

They promised you 3 caves, they promised you 3 beaches, but what they didn't mention was a day of 'riding' on a bumpy speedboat with no life jackets! Nevertheless, if you survived the trip, you would be rewarded with wonderful experiences of the Blue Grotto, Green cave and Stiniva Cove! Not something you would encounter everyday! Definitely a must if you happened to stop by Hvar.

People queued up for boarding
Finally a boat came back... wait a minute, this guy looked familiar... seems he was our skipper!
This boat was a bit crowded, luckily we were not on that boat...

Tickets, please?!
My first time inside a Blue Grottoe...The experience was really eerie.. very quiet and mysterious...
The more we approached the source of the light, the more neon blue the colour of the water turned into...
The blue was easily visible even with flash... this color was caused by sunlight entering the cave indirectly and bounced off the water

Sadly, it's time we had to leave... We were very lucky to see it as the cave would be closed if it was too windy, raining and with high tides...
The next boat was already queuing up. Those guys thought we were Koreans!
A nice view from the island of Bisevo
Soon we checked out the third cave of the day - the monk seal cave@Bisevo. This is the place where the Monk Seals used to breed. Again, only reachable by a small boat.
