Once used by Herod the Great, this 440m high mountain-top fortress was most famous for the Roman siege in 66AD when the revolting Jews captured this as the last stronghold for 2 years before fallen after all the remaining 1000 defenders committed a mass suicide rather than surrendering. 
 
'Masada Shall Not fall Again' is now a swearing-in oath of the Israeli defense force (IDF)

They even had a 3D model for you (to use the jug) to experiment how rainwater flowed through and was captured

Wow... what a sight?! Too bad I am not interested over men's beautiful physique
Not sure whether it was romantic, but it was definitely HOT here to cuddle under the scorching sun for this couple!
Here was how the siege ended, with Romans built up a ramp from the west side (only 91m high) as all other sides were impossible to lay siege
